Lamia Yared dévoile ce troisième album, From Minho to Euphrates, un tissage qui relie l’Ibérie médiévale à la Mésopotamie. En collaboration avec le multi-instrumentiste espagnol Efrén López, l’album met en dialogue des hymnes syriaques du IVᵉ siècle, des Cantigas de Santa Maria du XIIᵉ siècle issues de la cour d’Alphonse X, des muwashahāt d’Alep, et une pièce de Ṣafī al-Dīn al-Urmawī.

Le concert de lancement réunit aux côtés de Lamia Yared et Efrén López, des invités exceptionnels:

Lamia Yared and Efrén López announce the release of their new album From Minho to Euphrates.

Lamia Yared unveils this third album, From Minho to Euphrates, a project bridging medieval Iberia and Mesopotamia. Alongside Spanish multi-instrumentalist Efrén López, the album brings into dialogue 4th-century Syriac hymns, 12th-century Cantigas de Santa Maria from the court of Alfonso X, muwashahāt from Aleppo, as well as a 13th-century composition by Ṣafī al-Dīn al-Urmawī.

The album launch concert brings together, alongside Lamia Yared and Efrén López, exceptional guests:
